Each Homeowners insurance policy is different but generally includes damages to your home’s structure and its contents and living expenses resulting from loss of use. Homeowners policies generally include liability insurance for accidents on the property. Typically damages resulting from flooding are not covered.
The typical Florida Homeowners insurance policy includes 4 types of property coverage including:
- Damages to the Structure: Pays to rebuild or repair your home if it is damaged by a covered disaster such as fires, hurricanes and lightning. Most policies will also cover detached structures like tool sheds, or gazebos. Discussing your requirements
